Subverse Studio is the creative manifestation of Michael Anthony, a San Francisco Bay Area based photographer dedicated to exploring the intersection of sensuality, intimacy, and narrative storytelling. For over fifteen years, Michael has worked to develop a visual language that is as bold as it is unapologetic -- images that blur the lines between fantasy and reality to capture moments that feel both cinematic and uniquely personal.

As a native son of San Francisco, Michael’s move to the historic Bridgehead Studio in Alameda marks a new chapter in this journey. Michael prides himself on having a broad and inclusive clientele, delivering a diverse range of content. He has collaborated with aspiring and working models to build striking, professional portfolios, and is hired by working professionals seeking empowering and intimate boudoir sessions for personal enjoyment or as a romantic gift. His creative scope also extends to music artists, producing promotional content and album cover art. Furthermore, for over 15 years, Michael has been producing high-volume, dynamic content for adult entertainers to connect with and grow their audience on their subscriber-based platforms.
